Siden vi blev præsenteret for de her nye handsker, men også bedt om ikke at offentliggøre dem før nu har vi været mildest talt begejstrede. Det har været svært ikke at få lov at dele en nyhed som denne med Jer.
Men som tidligere nævnt har udviklingen indenfor tilbehør til målmænd ikke været overvældende – indtil nu. Der er ingen tvivl om at de nye Nike Mercurial Touch Elite Målmandshandsker kommer til at ruske lidt op i samtlige producenter af handsker, som bliver tvunget til at tænke nyt og innovativt.

Nike’s designere har masser af erfaring med at designe handsker til andre sportsgrene med andre formål. Netop disse erfaringer fra Gold, Amerikansk Football og Baseball kunne de bruge til udviklingen af de nye Nike Mercurial Touch Elite.
Nike Mercurial Touch Elite målmandshandskerne leverer præcis det en målmand har brug for, og på samme tid afskaffer den alt det overflødige.

Nike har i den grad formået at reducere stivheden og følelsen af at have luffer på. Handskerne er designet til at give målmanden optimale muligheder. De klassiske velcro lukninger er erstattet med en fleksibel håndledsstøtte, der faktisk støtter over håndledet og lidt op på underarmen. Den kan vel bedst sammenlignes med den indbyggede ‘sok’ man kender fra Nike’s fodboldstøvler.
